David Cooper

David is responsible for project management, hardware design and development, FPGA design.

David is a design engineer with over 30 years experience in the concept development, system design, hardware design and test of industrial products and systems. David graduated from Salford University in 1984, with a B.Sc. Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He is a chartered member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers M.I.E.T.

Dick Bell

Dick drives the direction of our non destructive ultrasonic test equipment. He is reposnsible for the specification of the solutions and designs the application software.

Dick is very experienced with over 25 years in ultrasonic testing equipment. He has experience from specification, tendering, design, documentation and test to on-site commissioning and final system hand over. Dick graduated from the University of Sheffield, in 1989.

Ian Abbott

Ian is responsible for Windows and Linux driver design and development.

Ian is an experienced software engineer with over 30 years experience of software engineering specialising in low-level interfaces, protocol handlers and device drivers for Linux and Windows. Ian helps maintain the Comedi Linux control and measurement device interface. Ian graduated from Manchester University, in 1984, with a B.Sc. Honours degree in Computer Science.

Keith Watterson

Keith is responsible for production test software, commissioning software, microprocessor firmware and back office desktop solutions.

Keith is a software engineer with over 20 years experience in software development. After leaving British Army (R.E.M.E.) as a Telecommunications Technician Class 2, he first worked in the games software industry before joining MEV.

Nick joined MEV shortly after we formed and has become a key member of the team responsible for in electronic PCB capture, testing and documentation tasks.
