Microcontroller based projects

Microchip's series of microcontrollers offer many useful on-chip peripherals together with very low power requirements.

  • 3.3 uW PIC Microcontroller in standby
  • 33 mW PIC Microcontroller running a typical application
  • 3.5 W Low Power Embedded PC in standby
  • 5 W Low Power Embedded PC running a typical application

We commonly use Microchip PIC Microcontrollers in low power applications and to reduce component count on printed circuit boards providing defined facilities at low cost e.g. complex waveform generation, protocol conversion
